The dealer draws two cards each for the Banker hand and the Player hand. Card values: Ace = 1, cards 2–9 = face value, 10/J/Q/K = 0. The hand value is the last digit of the total — so 7+6=13, which counts as 3.

Natural or Third Card

If either hand totals 8 or 9 on the first two cards, that's a Natural — the round ends immediately. Otherwise, the third card rule applies automatically: if the Player hand is 5 or less, a third card is drawn; the Banker follows its own drawing rules based on its total and the Player's third card.

Closest to 9 Wins

Whichever hand — Banker or Player — ends up closest to a total of 9 wins the round. If you backed the correct hand, you're paid out according to the table's payout schedule. If both hands tie and you backed Tie, you receive an 8:1 payout.
